Philip is Principal Partner and Co-founder of The Ternio Group & USMS WEST, which he started in 2015 with business partner Luis Romero. He has over 15 years of experience in healthcare and built his career around the medical supply chain focusing on operations, sterile services and inventory management.
Prior to The Ternio Group & USMS WEST, Philip served as Area Vice President for Owens and Minor – a global leader in healthcare logistics and a fortune 500 company. In this role, he was responsible for multiple distribution centers, an extensive client portfolio that contributed over $800 million in annual revenue and managed the operations, sales, contracting, customer service, accounts payables, and procurement divisions.

Luis is Principal Partner and Co-Founder of The Ternio Group. He has over 15 years of experience and training in hospital operations, supply chain, sterile processing, technology integration, and consultative sales.
Prior to co-founding Ternio, Luis held the position of Vice President with Owens and Minor – a global leader in healthcare logistics and a fortune 500 company. In this role, he managed a five-state territory from Texas to Florida serving strategic clients as a trusted advisor and directly responsible for sales and operations of all supply chain solutions including consulting, technology and advanced surgical logistics systems. Luis was a member of Owens & Minor’s Academy for Strategic Leadership through the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza School of Business. Prior to Owens and Minor, Luis served as Director of Supply Chain for the five-hospital Baptist Health System in San Antonio, TX where he was responsible for all supply chain, distribution, contracting and purchasing activities managing nearly $1 Billion in operational and capital expenditures.
